I have a bottle on my desk (yes a bottle) labeled “Extra Time.” The directions read, “Simply pour contents of this bottle into your personal hourglass. Use this extra time only for what is truly important to you! Contents: Extra time for you.” And, if you enter my office, you will find it has not been uncorked. It serves as a reminder of how precious time is and that how we spend it is very important. An important part of my life is the time I dedicate not only to my family and work, but to my commitments to volunteering activities, especially to ASHA and OPTIONSchools, Inc. Although both organizations are different in their scopes and missions, they both share the compassion of quality outcomes by supporting their memberships through multiple venues and services.
